Step 1: Notice What You’re Feeling

Emotions carry energy, and that energy can either drain you or fuel you — depending on how you channel it. Once you’ve identified how you feel, ask: How can I use this energy to support my goal?


- Feeling anxious? Use that alert energy to double-check your plan and prepare more thoroughly.

- Feeling excited but unfocused? Break your task into smaller, doable steps to keep the energy flowing steadily.

- Feeling low or drained? Start with a micro-action — even something as small as making your to-do list — to build momentum.


When you work with your emotional energy instead of fighting it, you’ll find it much easier to stay consistent and make steady progress toward your goals.
